Web-based iSDG Model and SDG Architect Board Game Launched at the Palais des Nations

MI presented the new web-based version of the iSDG Model to Heads of Permanent Missions and Permanent Observer offices to the United Nations at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland in November.

The presentation followed the Informal Feedback Meeting on the 2018 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) organized by the SDG Lab for member states and other stakeholders to exchange views and key messages on the trends that emerged from the Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) presented during the HLPF, and the preparatory process leading to the 2019 HLPF.

The web-version of iSDG includes all the features of the desktop version, but is now platform-independent: users can access the tool from their web browser on a computer, tablet, or phone.

The SDG Architect™, a board game aimed at increasing public awareness and understanding of the 2030 Agenda was also launched during the event. SDG Architect is a competitive game in which players develop and implement a strategy to achieve sustainable development in their country by making more efficient use of limited resources. The game will be available for purchase in 2019.
